As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, managing visitor and vehicle activity, and communicating clearly with team members and guests. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $17.30 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, screening visitors, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and other site-specific access-control duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
