Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 10+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves managing complex infrastructure projects within a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will lead projects related to infrastructure provisioning, security, data center migrations, and end-of-life programs, coordinating with various technical teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects related to infrastructure provisioning, security projects, data center migrations, and End of Life Programs
• Lead meetings and communicate technical details related to projects
• Work in a fast-paced environment whilst meeting deadlines
• Build trusted relationships with the business and technology teams
• Analyze and communicate capacity management related tasks
• Communicate standards and best practices to Lines of Businesses
• Work with System Administrator teams to help ensure server standards are being met
• Coordinate in Linux virtual and physical builds, upgrades, patching, and support

Requirements:

• 5+ years of work experience, including 3 years in Technical Project Management roles
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated and strong work ethic
• Strong background in networks, storage, hardware, and data centers
• Experience in supporting large enterprises
• Strong project and process leader
• Proficiency with Presentation, reporting, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies (physical server hosting, virtual machine hosting, storage, network, database, middleware, network traffic management, Network DMZ)
• Jira software experience
• Background in cloud, virtualization, and bare metal environments
• Understand technical concepts like DNS, Active Directory, NAS, Firewall, Proxy, and SMTP

Desired skills:

• System Administrator background
• Strong Linux background
• Scrum background
• Background in clustering, disaster recovery, and high availability

Pay range: $53.52 - $61.52 per hour
