Abbott seeks an IQA Inspector for its Westfield, Indiana facility in the Structural Heart division. The role involves inspecting incoming components, raw materials, and packaging to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements on a second-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

Execute first article inspections and correlate supplier reports with internal results
Inspect incoming production components including plastics, metals, and tubing
Maintain inspection documentation according to SOPs, work instructions, and GMP regulations
Communicate inspection findings and non-conformance results with engineering teams

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of experience in inspection or related field
Ability to perform detailed quality assessments and documentation
Proficiency with first article inspection processes
Knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance standards

Compensation: $15.80 – $31.60/hour
