Job Title Clinical Care Technician (CCT) – Direct Service Associate III – Western State Hospital (V3 Certified) – Staunton, VA. Starting pay $46,097, commensurate with experience. Job Responsibilities The Clinical Care Technician is responsible for direct patient care in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include: Administer medication in accordance with treatment plans and policies. Document and report errors via specific software and reporting mechanisms. Communicate effectively in written, verbal, and electronic formats. Use OneMind Electronic Health Record to document patient care. Assist in milieu management and advance education as required. Adhere to WSH medication administration guidelines 100% of the time. Shift Differentials 1st shift weekend: $3.00/hr. 2nd shift weekdays: $2.50/hr.; weekend/holidays: $3.00/hr. Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of illness and treatment modalities including medication administration. Ability to participate in interdisciplinary team. Effective communication skills. Ability to implement nursing care plan and provide guidance to other staff. Knowledge of recovery/trauma-informed care. Additional Considerations Veteran or Veteran Spouse preference.
