Rockville Technology, LLC. is a family owned, fast-paced machining services and fabrication company focused on creation nonferrous machine parts primarily for the US Aerospace and Defense Industry. We're looking to bring on a Quality Engineer at our location in Vernon, CT.

The Position:

This position will support Rockville's quality system and customers.The Quality Engineer role is critical to Rockville's business continuity and facilities routine customer audits, supports the maintenance of the quality system and the key licenses and certifications (NADCAP, ISO, AS9100) required to do business in aerospace and defense.The Quality Engineer works directly with customers understanding their specific quality requirements and ensuring delivery of the expected parts and accompanying documentation and quality data.This role must understand the critical customer needs and be able to communicate clearly through direct communication as well as completing any necessary supporting documentation and required notifications.


In this role you will:

• Assist with performing andmonitoring of internal audits
• Generate, perform, andmonitor supplier audits
• Assist with customer qualityaudits and answer corrective action requests as assigned
• Develop and Perform SPC
• Oversee inspections andaudits and Inspection Department as assigned by Quality Manager
• Prepare First Article's andInspection methods sheets as assigned by Quality Manager
• Investigate product qualityproblems and recommends changes or improvements
• Work directly with customers,suppliers, and internal personnel to establish consistent inspectiontechniques and resolve issues
• Assist with overseeing thecompanies Cause and Corrective Action and Preventive Action systems

About You:

• Degree in quality,industrial, mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience inquality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role
• ASQ certification and ISOInternal Auditor certification preferred
• Demonstrated execution ofPPAP management
• Experience coding and usingQA software tools and processes
• Strong communication,interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving, and project managementskills
• Able to work efficiently in ateam environment and maintain high confidentiality
• Excellent organizational andtime-management skills
• Proficiency with MicrosoftOffice, particularly Excel
• Must be a US Citizen. Mustcomply with EAR regulations and site SSA requirements.
