Summary:
The Shop Coordinator will confer with project manager or inside sale personnel to determine customer requirements on shop orders, help schedule fabrication jobs, notify shipping and receiving to move staged jobs to the production floor, provide shop personnel with drawings, fabrication checklist, and order assembly instructions,
enter time for fabrication personnel, coordinate return of leftover material from jobs, and invoice jobs.

Responsibilities of the Shop Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

• Confer with project manager or inside sale personnel to determine customer requirements on shop orders
• Help schedule fabrication jobs
• Communicate status of assigned jobs to the project manager, scheduler, and inside sales personnel
• Order shop materials needed for jobs
• Notify shipping and receiving to move staged jobs to the production floor
• Provide shop personnel with drawings, fabrication checklist, and order assembly instructions
• Enter time for fabrication personnel
• Coordinate shipment of the finished jobs with shipping and receiving department
• Check finished jobs before shipment, including fabrication checklist, and digital picture
• Coordinate return of leftover material from jobs
• Invoice jobs, including invoicing checklist
• Maintain the shop files

Qualifications of the Shop Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

• Customer-service oriented
• Experience in pump unit fabrication
• Computer literate
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to function and contribute in a team environment

Physical Demand: Ability to lift to 50lbs.
