Apex Systems, America’s second largest technical staffing firm, has a 6 month contract opening for an.Net Developer with a client in Greensboro, NC. This is a fast-paced, cutting edge environment offering room for advancement, professional and technical growth and long term stability. We are looking to hire fast and expect these resources to start soon. Quick Overview:

ONSITE Title:.Net Developer Duration: 6 Month Contract Location: ONSITE Greensboro, NC OR Dublin, VA Hours: Monday-Friday, first shift

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of new software features and functionalities in collaboration with the product owner, business analyst and architecture team
• Write clean, testable, scalable code using.NET programming languages
• Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are considerations when designing & developing solutions
• Develop complex detailed front end application design
• Identify and communicate technical risks, and propose mitigation actions
• Build innovative solutions and technologies to improve quality and performance. Stay current and provide insight on cutting edge software approaches, architectures
• Participates in estimation and planning of development, deployment, and operation activities

Experience:

• University Degree or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems/Computer Science
• 5+ years of full stack development experience on large scare enterprise-wide applications
• Experience working with ASP.NET MVC using C# and front-end technologies like Angular or Blazor
• Experience working with WCF (windows communication foundation) and Web API
• Experience working with visual studio, GIT, Azure DevOps and Azure cloud
• 5+ years of experience with an RDBMS, oracle, or SQL server
• Knowledge in unit/integration testing and/or TDD
• Good understanding of domain driven design and clean architecture

Nice to have experience:

• Having experience in one/more Emerging Technologies (like AI/ML, Cloud Computing, RPA, Data Analytics, Microservices etc.) would be an added advantage. Otherwise, should be willing to learn and acquire new skills and quickly work on new technologies.
• Experience working with Power BI
• Experience using test automation tools like Ranorex/Selenium
• Basic understanding of WMQ, WMQ client and WMQ explorer
• Experience working with Microsoft Access or Visual Basic
• Experience working with No-SQL databases like MongoDB
• Experience working with agile mindset and ways of working, and practical use of the Scrum framework and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
