About the Position
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: CRT or RRT Certifications: ACLS and BLS Must-Have: ICU Experience Description: Weekend shifts are required based on staffing needs. There are no call requirements for this position. Scheduling patterns are variable and depend on staffing needs. The unit has a total of 368 beds and 34 staff members. Staffing ratios are 1:36 patients. Common equipment includes V60, Hamilton C1, PB40, PB980, Metaneb, EPOC ABG system, Nitric, and AIRVO. The EMR system in use is Meditech. Key procedures performed include ABG, ventilator management, nitric management, bronchoscopy, intubation assistance, and nebulizer therapy. Candidates must be team players. Float requirements cover all areas of the facility. The dress code requires black scrubs. Rotating weekends are part of the work schedule.
