A Critical Access Hospital in Fort Morgan, CO is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OBGYN for ongoing 24-hour call coverage starting this November, with additional dates beginning January 2026.
Schedule & Availability:
- November 27 (7a) December 1 (7a)
- Ongoing dates starting January 2026
- 24-hour call shifts (7a7a)
- 1015 total shifts per month across all locums
- No trauma coverage
Practice Highlights:
- Setting: Critical Access Hospital, OB/GYN unit
- FTE: 1
- Required Procedures: General OBGYN, deliveries, C-sections, and related inpatient call
- Support Staff: RNs, anesthesia, general surgery (24/7), limited urology coverage
- Deliveries: ~15 per month
- EMR: Epic
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certified / Truly Board Eligible OBGYN (05 years post-residency) Required
- Active CO License or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission) Required
- Active BLS & DEA Highly Preferred (must obtain during credentialing if not current)
- Clean malpractice and background Preferred
- Must acknowledge and complete all Epic EMR training requirements before start
- Must confirm availability for stated and ongoing dates
- Must indicate number of shifts per month available
Credentialing & EMR Training:
- Timeframe: 3060 days (Emergency Privileges available for clean files)
- Epic Training Steps:
- Complete Pre-app & Full App to initiate AD account setup (5 days)
- Complete required online modules
- Attend virtual Epic training at least one week prior to start date
