SHOP MANAGER

The Shop Manager will coordinate activities of personnel engaged in repair and service of off Hwy equipment, crushing equipment, generators and trucks. * Review requests for repair, help determine problems and recommend solutions. * Schedule and assign work, coordinate efforts, provide technical guidance and review progress of all assignments. * Communicate with the Equipment Manager daily. * Complete all paperwork that may be necessary. * Manage repair projects internally and with outside vendors. * Assure all Knife River safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed. * Other duties assigned as needed. Minimum Qualifications: * Five plus years of heavy-duty equipment experience with knowledge of trucks, generators and crushing equipment. * Strong troubleshooting skills. * Previous supervisory skills. * Strong verbal, written and computer skills needed. * Must be very reliable, able to work well under pressure and can organize and prioritize work. * Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen. * Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members.
