As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Greencastle, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic commercial real estate location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, team-focused culture that puts people first.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general inquiries, and help to support established property rules and after-hours access procedures.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activities, and notable property conditions, and relay relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
