Aegis Living is an assisted living and memory care company who is always looking for hard-working, kind, and compassionate leaders to work for us.ResponsibilitiesAs a Maintenance Director, your contributions to the team may include:Responsibility for the general maintenance and repair of an assisted living community and strives to secure the lowest-cost solutions to maintenance problems.Supervision of the maintenance and housekeeping staff to ensure that the community is properly maintained.Providing leadership, training and development of assigned staff members.Responsibility for implementation of community Injury and Illness Prevention Program.Coordination of the Hazcom Program.Performing safety audits/checklists and emergency drills.QualificationsQualifications and requirements:Knowledge of and/or ability to learn the theory and practice of facilities and operations systems management in an assisted living and dementia care communitySkilled at building relationships with residents and staff membersAbility to maintain resident confidentialityKnowledge and/or ability to learn federal, state, and local regulationsKnowledge of management and accountingAbility to meet budgets and control costsKnowledge of computers, internet, and software applications including Word and ExcelMust meet all health requirements, including acceptable results on TB screen.Other cool stuff you might want to know:Competitive pay, excellent benefits (medical/dental/vision/401k/tuition assistance and more!), and an enjoyable work/life balance.
