Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position in Gulfport, MS. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a specialized clinical environment, supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, and ensuring patient safety and recovery. The clinician will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized patient care, while promoting safety and teamwork.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license, ICU experience, BLS Certification, ACLS Certification (if required for CIRH only), 2 years bedside clinical experience highly desired.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), strong patient assessment skills, effective communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, develops individualized care plans, initiates discharge planning from day of admission, and contributes to a positive work environment through team participation and effective communication. Provides supervision to ancillary staff, facilitates patient and family education, and participates in unit activities to ensure safe, efficient patient care delivery.
