Outpatient Vascular Surgical CenterAspects of this position include:Full-time salaried positionMonday-FridayVascular experience is preferredFull health, vision, dental, 401k, PTO benefitsThis is a great opportunity to be an integral part of a private comprehensive vascular practice focused on quality, transformation, and innovation.Requirements for this position include:Arkansas-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, and a current, unrestricted DEA license.Candidates must have the ability to provide quality, comprehensive, continuity of medical care in a compassionate manner with minimum supervision.The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for the provision of health care services to individuals, families, and/or groups who receive their care under the auspices of medical group.Health care services include conducting health assessments, prescribing/ providing treatments/ interventions, promoting health, and providing disease prevention and management.Health care services are provided under the direction and supervision of assigned vascular surgeon (collaborative agreement).The NP is expected to participate in quality assurance and improvement activities, engage in member of the team activities, and use resources (human and material) appropriately.All other duties as assigned.Education Level:Master's Level Degree – NURSE PRACTITIONERExperience:2 years experience as an outpatient NPVascular experience strongly preferredLicense Required:Nurse Practitioner LicenseAuthorization to PrescribeBasic Life SupportAdvanced Cardiac Life Support SkillsRequired:CommunicationCritical ThinkingThe NP maintains continuing education credits as prescribed by licensing body and the medical group and maintains prescriptive authority; acquires special clinical competencies as required by the group; participates in quality assurance and utilization management activities; and assists with risk management functions
