General Pediatrician

CHKD Health System seeks a BC/BE Pediatrician for a role in Suffolk, Virginia, supported by a collaborative clinic culture, advanced practice providers (APPs), and no inpatient responsibilities. Opportunity Highlights

• Work in a collaborative, collegial clinic culture focused on improving workflows

• Build a stable, growing practice 
• Take light, evenly shared call with after-hours triage support 
• 4-day outpatient workweek with Monday-Friday clinic hours 
• Practice with advanced practice providers (APPs) at each clinic 
• Ramp up in 2-3 months and practice with no inpatient care required 
• See 20-25 patients per day across bread-and-butter pediatrics 
• Join CHKD Health System and collaborate with pediatric specialists and surgeons 
• Work in an NCQA-recognized patient-centered medical home 
• Access teaching and research opportunities with local medical schools and residency programs 
• Join more than 120 CHKD board-certified pediatricians and nurse practitioners across 19 primary care practices 
• Bring strong charting, documentation, responsiveness, and communication skills to the role
