About the Role:

The Physician Assistant (PA) plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services in an outpatient clinic setting. This position involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. The PA will be responsible for conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Additionally, the role requires effective communication with patients to educate them about their health conditions and preventive care strategies. Ultimately, the PA will contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall efficiency of the healthcare team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Current California state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and another language.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document medical histories.
• Perform physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Educate patients on health management, preventive care, and medication adherence.
• Monitoring and operating medical equipment.
• Diagnosing health issues.
• Administering medicine and other treatments.
• Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed.
• Consulting with healthcare professionals and families.
• Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury
