Position Details- Status: Part-Time or Full-Time, Hospital Employed
- Start Date: As soon as possible
Our organization’s Women’s Health Clinic is committed to providing exceptional, tailored gynecological care to the community. We offer a wide range of services, including:
- Comprehensive health care for women
- Surgical services
- Diagnosis and treatment for specific health issues
- Wellness exams and educational resources
Additionally, we are recognized as a NHSC/HRSA approved site, making us eligible for student loan repayment and scholarship programs.
About UsOur facility is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital featuring a Level IV Trauma Emergency Department, staffed by board-certified emergency physicians. With over 60 active medical staff members, we provide a variety of inpatient departments, specialties, and clinics. Located in the vibrant downtown area of Sandpoint, we are surrounded by the stunning Lake Pend Oreille and the Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort, offering endless outdoor activities throughout the year.
Candidate Qualifications- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
- Minimum of 2 years of independent practice experience
- Board-certified in Gynecology
- Willingness to take minimal on-call duties
- Strong understanding of evidence-based medical practices
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates empathy and compassion in patient care
- Compensation above the national average
