Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedic & Neurological - $2,322 perweek

Job Description TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a position in Sylva, North Carolina. The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days. Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the setting following facility billing guidelines. Understand and comply with the PT board’s rules and regulations and state requirements. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment and incorporate it into care plans. Modify plan of care as indicated based on the patient’s condition. Use medical center computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience; 1‑year preferred, new graduates encouraged. Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. State‑specific medical licensing (must hold a valid PT license in the state). Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Physical capability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods. Additional certifications may be required before assignment. Compensation Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
