Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Night Shift Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nurse

Provide expert nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during night shifts. Ensure patient safety, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms to detect arrhythmias and respond appropriately.
• Document patient data, interventions, and responses with precision in electronic medical records.
• Assess patient conditions regularly and escalate changes to the healthcare team.
• Adhere to compliance standards including BLS and ACLS certification requirements.
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 18 months of current PERMANENT Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Hold an active Ohio license or a valid compact state license.
• Be fully certified in BLS and ACLS with active in-hand credentials.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.
• Provide at least one recent reference from a supervisor or manager within the past 12 months.
• Complete all required screenings, including drug and background checks, within specified timeframes.
