As an Irrigation Technician, you will be instrumental in installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to help clients’ landscapes flourish. Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently perform all irrigation technician duties on assigned projects
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair existing irrigation systems
- Install new irrigation systems, including all components from the initial point of connection to spray nozzles and timer clock wiring
- Accurately complete and submit time and material tracking paperwork after each project
- Follow assigned work schedules and project specifications
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards
- Assist with shop duties such as sweeping, organizing, and cleaning as needed
- Properly care for and maintain equipment, including safe handling and correct oil and gas mixture
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in irrigation or related plumbing work
- Ability to operate equipment and drive vehicles with trailers or other small equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license required
- Professional, friendly, and detail-oriented with pride in workmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Capable of bending, squatting, kneeling, and performing physical labor outdoors for up to 8 hours
