Housekeeping Operations Manager

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare Company, specializes in support services for the healthcare industry. Compensation ranges from $55,000-60,000 per year and the position is at Pay Grade 10. Job Summary Operations Manager – responsible for directing and overseeing the operational needs of the support services department. The role coordinates the tasks of frontline associates and serves as a liaison between administration and unit departments to deliver the highest level of service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Establish and annually review standards and work procedures for all staff. Plan work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services. Assist in hiring, interview, onboarding, and training of new associates. Orient, develop, and supervise supervisory/housekeeping staff. Conduct regular inspections and make recommendations to the facility. Produce monthly reports on goals, accomplishments, and future plans. Provide staff education and continuous training. Communicate with staff, administration, and other departments. Coordinate outside services such as pest control, window cleaning, medical and solid waste, document destruction, and recycling program. Qualifications Minimum 4 years of support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience. At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a support service field with high customer/client contact. Strong written and oral communication skills. Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Organized and adaptable in a changing, stressful environment. Demonstrates initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership. Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures. Proficient computer skills and familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet use. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
