Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3rd Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of one year experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an approved equivalent required Must-Have: - Excellent customer service skills - Strong critical thinking abilities - Effective communication skills - Exceptional organizational skills - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The Staff RN-Inpatient role incorporates essential functions adapted from the Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
