Meriwether Godsey is looking for Utility Steward/Dishwashers at a private co-educational college preparatory boarding and day school located in Gill, MA $19.00 Per Hour Full-Time 1st and 2nd shift opportunities Free Meals and Uniforms What The Utility Steward/Dishwasher Will Do Set up and operate the dish machine for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, trays, silverware, glassware, pots, and pans: scrape, separate, and organize items Note and record dish-machine temperatures, reporting low temperatures or machine malfunctions immediately Transport related supplies and assist in the setup of dining and serving areas Clean dining and serving areas throughout and after the meal period and replenish to ensure service without interruption Set up and use a three-compartment sink for cleaning and sanitizing pots and pans Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas, including sweeping, mopping floors, and removal of trash Assist with receiving and storing food products and food preparation following correct food handling procedures to ensure food safety Perform all duties according to food safety and sanitation best practices Other duties, as assigned What The Utility Steward/Dishwasher Will Need Must be able to pass a background check Previous utility/dishwasher experience required Ability to measure products and convert units of measure Awareness of commercial kitchen equipment and how to perform routine maintenance and cleaning Reliability and a willingness to work in a hot, humid environment Good communication skills and a great attitude What The Utility Steward/Dishwasher Will Get Competitive Pay, Uniforms, Meals, Training, Mentorship, and Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, etc.) Meriwether Godsey offers significant opportunities for growth and career advancement.
