Overview
Registered Nurse, Operating Room (OR) – Travel assignment in Kansas City, KS, United States. Start date 06/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,320–$2,431 per week. Guaranteed hours: None. Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative nursing care in the OR as a scrub and circulating RN
- Assist with a range of cases including DaVinci robot-assisted procedures, large head and neck, neuro spine, and ex lap surgeries
- Maintain strict sterile technique, patient safety, and procedural accuracy during operative events
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Document intraoperative care, specimen handling, and patient status per policy
- Support readiness and turnover between cases, including equipment and room setup

Requirements
- Licensure: Kansas RN license
- Certifications: AHA BLS
- Experience: 2+ years of OR experience with level 1 trauma experience required
- Skills: Strong scrub experience; familiarity with DaVinci robot cases; exposure to head/neck, neuro spine, and ex lap cases
- Floating: Will float to all ORs as needed
- Schedule: On-call required, up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract
- Weekend: Set schedule (no weekend requirement beyond set shifts)
- Orientation: New employee orientation Monday–Tuesday; nursing orientation Wednesday–Friday (summer schedule)
