Job Description Job Description The Automotive Technician/Automotive Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, including trucks, SUVs, passenger cars, and commercial vehicles. This role involves using both generic OBD-II scanners and manual diagnostic procedures to ensure vehicle safety and functionality. Working primarily during day shifts, the technician will collaborate within a small team while also managing tasks independently. Effective customer communication and thorough problem-solving are integral to this position. Responsibilities Perform brake maintenance and repairs on various vehicle types Conduct transmission services and preventive maintenance routines Repair suspension systems and perform emission testing Replace parts accurately and efficiently Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical issues Communicate clearly with customers regarding vehicle status and work performed Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive repair Valid Driver's License Proficient knowledge of brake systems and preventive maintenance Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent customer service and time management abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr Kwik Kar Oil & Lube
