Adjunct Instructor - Philosophy

Job Summary The Adjunct Instructor position is responsible for teaching courses including Introduction to Philosophy, Ethics and the Modern World, Introduction to Political Philosophy, Introduction to Logic, Critical Thinking, Western Philosophy, Non Western Philosophy, Applied Ethics, and Philosophy of Religion. Adjunct faculty members are employed to provide specific courses on an as‑needed basis. Contracts for adjunct faculty members are issued on a semester or term basis. Adjunct Instructors hold the responsibility for the management of courses taught. Adjunct Instructors are expected to be available for a reasonable amount of time for each course taught to counsel students regarding course work. Minimum Qualifications Masters’ Degree in Philosophy or a related field AND 18 graduate hours in Philosophy Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. in Philosophy; online and/or face‑to‑face teaching experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
