Registered Nurse (RN) - Case Management

Case Manager RN – Acute Care

Shift: 5x8 Days (Monday–Friday business hours); shift times may be one of the following: 0700-1530, 0730-1600, 0800-1630, or 0830-1700.

Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks (clinician may be called off for one 8-hour shift per 2 weeks).

AK RN license required for auto-offer (pending license may be acceptable for submission). Acute care hospital case management experience required. Preferred: ACM-RN certification, BLS certification. Experience with Epic EMR is required. Familiarity with utilization review tools, such as InterQual and Milliman, preferred.

Coordinate care and discharge planning for patients across the care continuum. Conduct continued stay reviews and perform medical necessity determinations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social services, and others. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Must be willing to work every other weekend and 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Orientation: Approximately 24 hours. Parking is free. Scrub color will be provided. Only 1 time-off request per 13-week assignment (5 days or less); no holiday time-off requests for auto-offer.
