Laboratory Scientist/Technologist Opportunity

A healthcare facility in the Mount Sterling area is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist to join its laboratory team. This role offers the chance to work in a patient-focused environment where quality, accuracy, and teamwork are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Perform laboratory testing and analyze results
Maintain quality control and laboratory standards
Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of patient results
Collaborate with laboratory and clinical staff to support patient care

Qualifications

MLS, MT, or equivalent certification preferred
Previous hospital or clinical laboratory experience preferred
Generalist experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
