TRAVEL POSITION - OPEN TO ALL LOCATIONS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images per company/protocol, ARRT/ARMRIT and accreditation standards
• Perform patient safety pre-screening for contraindications; enforce MR zone/access restrictions for patients, staff, and visitors
• Start and discontinue peripheral IVs using aseptic technique; administer MR contrast (including via ports, CVLs, PICC lines as indicated); identify and escalate adverse reactions per protocol
• Operate MRI scanners; select appropriate coils/imaging techniques
• Demonstrate proficiency in EMR, PACS, and DICOM systems for image sharing/interpretation
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality; communicate effectively with radiologists and the care team

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification (ARRT(R) with MR eligibility considered per contract)
• Texas MRT license (or applicable compact/state license)
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 1 2 years MRI experience
• Demonstrated contrast administration & venipuncture competency

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• 3 years MRI experience
