Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Senior Reporting AccountantAs the Senior Reporting Accountant you will play a vital role in the Company's corporate financial reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day corporate close process and preparation of financial reports, including our SEC and ESG reporting. This position is located at our corporate offices in Salt Lake City, Utah and has a hybrid working schedule.Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial reports for public filings with the SECPerform due diligence and regular monitoring of the Company ESG metrics and dataWork with communications team to draft responses to ESG inquiries from interested parties and rating agencies.Collaborate with communications and legal teams to create ESG data and content for SEC reporting and external presentationsCorporate general ledger reconciliations and reviewFinancial analysisAudit supportResearch technical accounting issues and prepare technical accounting memosQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in AccountingMinimum of three years of accounting experience, some public company experience preferredExperience or work related to the filings of public companiesStrong communication skills across organizational levelsProject management skillsTime management; ability to meet important deadlinesCreative thinking and problem-solvingHigh degree of attention to detailRequired Competencies:Critical thinkingExtensive knowledge of Microsoft ExcelComfortable working with computers and automated accounting systemsAdaptabilityWorkiva and XBRL experience helpfulOutstanding collaboration and teamwork skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving skills
