Salary/Payrate: $75K-$85K

Work Environment: Hybrid 4 days in office/1 remote

Term: Direct Hire (Full-time)

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Litigation Department in our Wilmington office on a hybrid basis. The Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to attorneys and business services professionals throughout all phases of complex litigation with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, hearings, trial preparation, and post-trial matters.
• Prepare, file, and serve pleadings, court documents, discovery, subpoenas, and other litigation materials through File & ServeXpress and PACER/CM/ECF .
• Maintain accurate, organized, confidential physical and electronic client files in accordance with Firm standards.
• Research and apply Delaware state, federal, and Court of Chancery rules, procedures, and filing requirements.
• Conduct legal and non-legal research, cite checks, Shepardizing, proofreading, and case-law retrieval using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER , and other resources.
• Support eDiscovery and document-production workflows, including data collection, document productions, privilege logs, and related litigation technology.
• Use Relativity and other litigation-support databases to organize, search, analyze, and manage electronic data.
• Prepare chronologies, exhibits, court papers, key documents, and other materials for attorney review.
• Coordinate with case teams to monitor deadlines, manage assignments, and anticipate litigation needs.
• Manage complex projects independently while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Assist with database management, workflow improvements, and training or mentoring junior paralegals.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with electronic databases, document-management systems, and litigation-support technology.
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, and other business applications.
• Excellent research, analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER , and related legal research tools.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and adaptability.
• Flexibility to travel and adjust hours as business needs require.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three or more years of paralegal or legal-support experience , preferably in litigation or another complex legal practice area.
