PT Dental Hygienist

Collegeville, Pennsylvania, United States Responsibilities As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in maintaining patients' oral health and promoting overall well‑being. If you are dedicated, detail‑oriented, and passionate about helping patients achieve excellent oral hygiene, we want to hear from you! Perform thorough and accurate oral assessments to identify patients' oral health conditions. Clean and remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth using various dental instruments. Administer local anesthesia to patients as required for dental procedures. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash. Provide personalized recommendations for oral care products based on individual patient needs. Take dental X‑rays and process them for the dentist's evaluation. Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride varnishes or sealants to protect patients' teeth. Conduct periodontal charting and assist the dentist in identifying and treating gum diseases. In addition, you will help facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a dental Hygienist. Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods. Understanding of health & safety regulations. Excellent communication and people skills. Strong attention to detail. Well‑organized and reliable. High school diploma. Benefits 401(k) plan with match options. Salary: $45 - $52 USD per hour.
