Job Summary Registered Nurse RN Inpatient Surgical Unit at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Up to $12,000 sign‑on bonus. Responsibilities Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift; promptly identify and report changes in patient status. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers; ensure thorough and timely documentation of care. Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action if an unintended response occurs. Respond promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipate patient needs, and resolve them efficiently. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow‑up measures, ensuring complete understanding. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Registered Nurse license. Associate Degree in Nursing. Resident in Portsmouth, NH.
