It’s an inviting place to live and work while building valuable acute care and emergency nursing experience.Job Details\n \n Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) / Emergency Department (ED)\n Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)\n Start Date: 08/24/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15)\n Weekly Hours: 36 hours, with an option for 48 hours depending on assignment needs\n Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend\n Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,620 - $1,700\n Charting System: Epic\n Setting: Busy emergency department with a daily census of approximately 135 visits\n Location: Tulsa, OK 74104\n Job Requirements\n \n Active Oklahoma RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission\n At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required; 2 years preferred\n Previous travel nurse experience preferred\n ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS required in hand at time of submission\n Experience with the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system required\n Ability to care for diverse patient populations across all age groups\n Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity environment\n Responsibilities\n \n Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics\n Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritization of patients in a fast-paced ER environment\n Administer medications, start and maintain IVs, and support critical interventions as needed\n Monitor and respond to cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and trauma-related emergencies\n Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary team members\n Document accurately and efficiently in Epic while maintaining patient safety and quality of care\n Support emergency treatments including stroke, sepsis, chest pain, trauma, behavioral health, and other urgent presentations\n Adapt to floating within scope as needed based on facility needs\n \n Apply now for this travel ER RN job in Tulsa, Oklahoma and join a healthcare team dedicated to exceptional emergency care.
