Integration Software Engineer

Job Title Integration Software Engineer Type of Engagement 6‑month contract (Visa sponsorship is not available) Work Location Onsite position located in Greenville, SC Travel Requirements Up to 30% over a 12‑month period including international travel. Job Overview Our client is looking to add a Senior Integration Software Engineer to help facilitate both the ongoing support of existing systems as well as system upgrades and integration for new systems. Essential Job Responsibilities Development or modification of manufacturing middleware? Support related to software and interfacing with key users using Service Now Daily team standups using Agile and Gitlab for software management Collaboration with key individuals and team lead Documentation of processes, installation, and release notes Work with SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) on observability of middleware/software Technical Environment Currently these systems are predominantly Windows Servers running .NET Framework applications in C# with UI in either legacy ASP.Net or WPF and back‑end Oracle Database. These systems are deployed on VMware ESXi clusters on premise in datacenters at our facilities. This model is moving towards a micro‑service architecture using containers on Kubernetes (K8) with .NET Core, Blazor UI, and PostgreSQL on VMware Tanzu. Internal / External Customer Internal users at 26 production manufacturing sites in the US, Canada and Mexico. Size of Group The Integration team consists of 11 people and includes: 1 Manager, 1 Team Lead, 1 Architect, 6 Developers, 1 Site Reliability Engineer. Required Skills & Experience Degree: Computer Science background or equivalent experience. Experience: 5–7+ years overall. Setting: 2+ years in production manufacturing preferred. Computer Skills Languages: C# (.net)/Blazor (preferred), Java (preferred) Data: PostgreSQL and Oracle (Must understand Relational Databases) Infrastructure: Command of Windows/Linux, Kubernetes, and CI/CD Pipelines (Gitlab CI/CD) Methodology: Operates natively within Agile/Scrum Principles. Job Requisition # 40311 Compensation A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $55.00 - $60.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
