Pay: $50K - $57K+ DOE

This is a Direct Hire position!

Wholesale supply company in the swimming pool industry is hiring a responsible and experienced Counter Salesperson in Knoxville, TN!

Counter Salesperson works with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process

Counter Salesperson responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Balance customer service, order fulfillment, inventory management and upselling

• Establish relationships with customers by assisting walk-in and phone customers, representing the company in a professional manner
• Provide trade professionals with parts, supplies and technical support

• Processes, pulls and distributes customer products quickly and efficiently
• Handles questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Accurately performs data entry of sales orders to generate an invoice of products ordered to be picked up or delivered. Secures payment of invoice
• Assists in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties

MUST have:

• experience working in a wholesale distribution
• knowledge of swimming pool industry

Pool industry warehouse experience will be reflected in pay offer

Day shift (8 am - 4:30 pm) with OT during peak season

Qualifications of this Counter Salesperson

• Forklift experience
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. throughout day and move 100 pounds with a dolly.

• Strong counter "presence"and the ability to deal directly with customers for a large portion of the day.
• Strong customer-service attitude.
• Good computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with inventory, product allocations and customer issues.
