About the Position We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team, committed to delivering outstanding care together. Utilizing the latest ultrasound technology, you will perform a variety of diagnostic procedures. Collaborate with a nurturing group of clinical professionals and help provide patients with clarity through timely and accurate imaging. Core Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining each procedure in a compassionate manner
- Work in close coordination with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure superior image quality
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment responsibly, reporting any issues promptly
- Diligently document all procedures and manage patient records accurately within the electronic medical system
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or an equivalent field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferable
- Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a multidisciplinary collaborative environment
- Adaptability to a fast-paced atmosphere while maintaining a patient-centric approach
