Your OpportunityStantec’s New Jersey Transportation group has an immediate need for talented, team focused Civil Engineers with 3-5+ years of experience in specialty areas including roadway/highway design, traffic control & construction staging design, right-of-way engineering, access design, and utility engineering. We are looking for Civil Engineers who excel in working in a team environment and have a passion for the work that they do.Your Key ResponsibilitiesDesign roadways in accordance with AASHTO and NJDOT specifications and CADD Standards using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation and OpenRoads software.Develop design plans and calculations, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.Prepare engineering reports and technical studies such as design memos, feasibility studies, Concept Design Reports, Design Exception Reports, and Preliminary Engineering Reports.Interact with and present project designs to clients, agencies, and the publicWork alongside experienced practitioners to expand your knowledge.Your Capabilities and CredentialsExperience with MicroStation & OpenRoads, and / or AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.Work experience with public agencies (NJDOT, NJTA, PANYNJ) a plus.Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in both small and large-scale highway improvement projects.EIT preferred (PE is a plus)#INDInfrastructurePay Range:• Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas-$85,000.00 - $123,300.00 AnnuallyPay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
