Electrical Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager reports directly to the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in a client‑facing role that requires building strong relationships both in and outside the office. Core responsibilities include developing skills through hands‑on experience, peer collaboration, and ongoing technical training. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist in estimating project scope and costs Manage projects with subcontractors Communicate with clients and subcontractors Attend and actively participate in project coordination and owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings as requested or required. Research and prepare change requests to resolve design issues for approval Research and recommend solutions to design document problems, including conflicts, interferences, and errors/omissions Monitor field work and/or contract work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications, and codes. Assist with the submittal process. Assist in tracking and completion of billing. Qualifications REQUIRED: A college degree, journeyman’s license, or master electrician’s license Understanding of electrical installations Strong computer skills – specifically in Microsoft 365 Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Able to work independently as well as in a team environment Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis without employer sponsorship. Employment‑based visa sponsorship (including H‑1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.
