This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 AM - 05:00 PM), variable schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide care in outpatient, acute care, and some long-term care settings in a small, Critical Access Hospital. This position will involve working with patients to evaluate and implement treatment plans aimed at improving their ability to perform daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patient's functional abilities.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve daily living skills.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of AK.
• BLS certification required.
• NBCOT certification required.
