Java Microservices Developer – Hybrid NYC (Brokerage)Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)Duration: 12 MonthsInterview Process: 2 Video + 1 Face-to-Face (2–3 rounds)Candidates: Local to NY/NJ onlyJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Java Microservices Developer to join a Brokerage team in NYC. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, along with exposure to AngularJS-based frontend integrations. The role requires strong technical depth and the ability to clear a rigorous multi-round interview process.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring BootBuild RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise applicationsWork within a distributed microservices architectureIntegrate backend services with AngularJS frontend applicationsParticipate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviewsWrite clean, maintainable, and high-performance codeTroubleshoot production issues and optimize application performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI, QA, and DevOpsImplement security, logging, and monitoring best practicesContribute to CI/CD pipeline and deployment automationRequired SkillsStrong hands-on experience in Java (8/11/17)Solid experience with Spring Boot and Spring FrameworkExperience building Microservices architectureStrong experience with REST APIs / Web ServicesExperience with AngularJS integrationKnowledge of Hibernate / JPAExperience with SQL / relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)Experience with Git and version controlUnderstanding of multithreading and concurrencyStrong debugging and performance tuning skills
