Senior .NET Reports Developer

Evolver is seeking a Senior .NET Reports Developer to support the work and projects of our client in Washington D.C.


This is an onsite role in Washington, DC. You must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance and pass a comprehensive Background Clearance.

Responsibilities

• This position requires excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to interface effectively with key stakeholders.
• Ability to work with non-technical customers and create software solutions based on their requirements.
• Ability to work with subject-matter experts, analyze existing solutions, databases and reports and make or suggest improvements, as needed.
• Migrate SSRS reports from on-premise SharePoint sites to a central Reports Portal, enhance current reports and develop new ones
• Knowledge to work on relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle
• Support SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages used for data collection required by various reporting interfaces
• Ability to work productively without being micromanaged.
• Update developer technical reference documentation.

Basic Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 13 years of applicable experience, or 15 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree.
• 13+ years of experience developing web applications using .Net
• 5 years of experience conducting analysis of data maintained in multiple different sources and identify processes to validate the information
• 5 years of experience developing business intelligence solutions within SharePoint using all of the following Business Intelligence tools:
  • SQL Server Reporting Services
  • SQL Server Integration Services
  • Report Builder
  • Visual Studio BI tools
  • SharePoint Designer
• 5 years of experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services
• 5 years of experience with full lifecycle BI development is a requirement - emphasis on SQL Server Reporting Services, MS Report Builder, SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, PowerShell, SQL Server Integration Services and Visual Studio BI tools.
• 5 years of experience years of experience with Report Development and SQL queries
• 5 years of experience working in a team in an agile work environment and experience in Azure DevOps

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• A team player with an ability to own projects and interface with clients
• A firm understanding of database design fundamentals, including table design and normalization, query writing using SQL, and database and query optimization
• Power BI/Tableau experience is a plus
• Knowledge of developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions.
• Knowledge of Dependency Injection and Inversion of Control
• Experience with .Net Core
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
• Ability to analyze application requirements
• Understanding of Web Accessibility and be able to demonstrate work that conforms to accessibility guidelines
• Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize IIS installations/applications
• Knowledge of emerging web technologies
