As a Budtender, you will be a key member of a medium-sized team (5-10 employees) working in a dynamic retail environment. Your role involves assisting customers with their purchases, providing expert product knowledge about cannabis, and ensuring a smooth sales experience. You will operate in a flexible shift schedule, supporting inventory management, merchandising, and customer education to enhance the overall store experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting products and answer questions related to cannabis offerings
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines and industry trends
- Handle sales transactions accurately using POS systems
- Manage and organize inventory to ensure availability and freshness
- Educate customers on product usage, effects, and safety
- Ensure appealing product displays through merchandising
- Process cash and maintain register accuracy
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet store goals
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
- OMMA certification compliant with state regulations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with point of sale (POS) systems
- Comprehensive product knowledge of cannabis products
- Attention to detail and ability to manage inventory
- Effective sales techniques and teamwork capabilities
- Good time management skills
