About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS and BCLS required Must-Have: On-call required, approximately 1-2 days per week and every 3rd or 4th weekend. Description: The position involves working in a cardiac catheterization lab. Shifts are scheduled for 8 hours from Monday through Friday. Two years of experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted. No weekend shifts are required. Travelers will not be floating outside their scope. Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius. Special requirements for the position include proficiency in circulating procedures, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring. The daily patient census includes diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, TAVR, AAA, ICD, pacemaker placements, TEE, cardioversion, IMPELLA, and STEMI interventions. Specific equipment experience required includes IABP and IMPELLA. The environment is an acute care hospital with a total of 233 staffed beds. The charting system used is EPIC. There are no additional special requirements noted for this role. Travelers must comply with all policies and procedures related to the assignment. All compliance documentation must be submitted before the specified deadline.
