Details Post Anesthesia Care unit with 16 beds and a 2:1 patient ratio Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU patient population, geriatric patients aged 6 months and up 3x12 day shift schedule, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM Weekend requirement of one per month (Saturday and Sunday) On-call as needed, maximum one 12-hour shift per week Floating to sister units for helping hands and to the on-campus surgery center as case volume shifts EPIC EMR experience required Requirements Active VA RN license or Compact required Current BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 2 years of Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU RN experience required EPIC EMR experience required IV access, critical care, and Level 2 Trauma experience preferred Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment Additional Information Provide perioperative nursing care across Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU phases Navy scrub color required per facility dress code policy No holiday coverage required for this assignment Candidates must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be considered No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months American Traveler Job ID P-750307.
