Physical Therapy Aide (Spanish Speaking Preferred)

About the Role As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in both patient care and clinic operations. You’ll work closely with the doctor and other team members to ensure patients receive effective, compassionate care while supporting the day-to-day needs of the clinic. Primary Responsibilities Assist the supervising physician in providing physical therapy services to patients. Guide and educate patients through prescribed exercise programs, ensuring proper form and technique. Offer encouragement and support to help patients complete exercises confidently and safely. Operate therapy equipment such as electrical stimulation machines, ultrasound, and vasopneumatic compression devices. Maintain a clean and safe environment by sanitizing therapy equipment daily. Perform light cleaning duties including restocking supplies, laundering towels weekly, and keeping frequently used areas like the kitchen and bathrooms tidy. Track and manage inventory on a monthly basis. Make occasional patient calls for scheduling and follow-up. Work as part of a collaborative team to help manage clinic flow and ensure patients are seen on time. You must be comfortable on your feet for extended periods and able to multitask in a team setting.
