Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in preparing and supporting surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to hospital standards and policies to deliver optimal patient care. The candidate will perform routine and delegated duties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and surgical team members by preparing ORs and surgical instruments.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure all equipment is properly sterilized.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures for efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and standards to prevent contamination and infection.
• Document intraoperative activities and assist with post-operative cleanup.
• Support the surgical team in vascular, transplant, ophthalmology, spine, robotic, or cardiac procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current CST licensure (NBSTSA) required.
• Valid BLS certification (AHA) required.
• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent educational credential.
• Minimum of 5 years of OR experience; specialty experience preferred.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in high-pressure surgical settings.
• Strong understanding of surgical instruments and aseptic techniques.
