About The Role As a Respiratory Therapist with Apria in Columbus, Ohio, you’ll provide essential respiratory care, equipment setup, troubleshooting, and patient education across a blended work environment. The role requires strong patient-care skills, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt between office‑based responsibilities and field visits. You’ll work within a tight‑knit, tenured, drama‑free team, reporting directly to the General Manager. This branch values teamwork, professionalism, and a supportive culture. The RT team also occasionally assists with Driver duties when needed. Key Highlights Work Arrangement: 70% office / 30% road Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (flexible) Driving Radius: Typically, 30–40 minutes; up to 1.5 hours one way Additional Duties: May assist with Driver tasks if willing Schedule Monday–Friday Standard hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (flexible) Alternating on‑call every 2 weeks Mix of office responsibilities and patient home visits Salary Range $31 – $34 per hour, based on experience. What You’ll Do Perform new patient setups for CPAP, BiPAP, ventilators, and oxygen. Provide troubleshooting, education, and clinical support to patients and families. Deliver high‑quality patient care in both office and home‑based settings. Document all interactions, equipment setups, and follow‑ups accurately. Collaborate with the branch team to deliver seamless service. Provide occasional Driver support if willing. Qualifications & Requirements Respiratory Therapist with an active Ohio RT license.
