Pay: $80 local, $90 travel weekly


Shifts: 12pm - 12am, Every Other Weekend (EOW) and Holiday


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a travel assignment in Ohio. This position requires delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The ED RN will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide critical patient assessments and ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical and emotional health
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient responses to care and adjust plans as necessary
• Provide education to patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care
• Triage patients effectively to prioritize care based on severity of illness or injury
• Assist in resuscitation, stabilization, and advanced life support procedures during emergencies
• Operate and maintain emergency equipment, including defibrillators, monitors, and ventilators
• Work closely with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate care
• Communicate patient status, changes, and care plans clearly to team members and families
• Adhere to established protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Participate in continuing education and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Requirements of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse

• Current Ohio State Board of Nursing license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience preferred
