Quality Assurance Engineer

QA Engineer (NQA-1)Location: Oak Ridge, TNType: Direct HireWork Model: Onsite – onsiteResponsibilitiesEnsure activities affecting engineering, procurement, dedication/qualification, and manufacturing processes conform to the ASME NQA-1 standard for items and services provided to nuclear facilities.Develop, implement, and maintain an NQA-1 compliant Quality Assurance Program.Review project deliverables, procurement requisitions, and quality verification documents for compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.Coordinate and conduct internal and external vendor audits as an NQA-1 auditor.Identify, evaluate, and track nonconforming items or processes and develop/maintain corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Ensure compliance with nuclear quality frameworks such as 10CFR50 Appendix B and 10CFR21.RequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent military experience. Degree not required for individuals with 5+ years of NQA-1 experience.2 to 5+ years of experience in NQA-1 Quality Assurance.Willingness to achieve Lead Auditor certification (not required but preferred).Deep knowledge of NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR Part 21, and industry standards such as EPRI and IEEE.Strong technical writing, professional collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills.Infrequent travel support for audits and surveys.System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
